Really solid piece of furniture. Most narrow bookcases are cheap ones; this is nice quality. The charcoal stained ash is a perfect color. Almost black but not quite. Another top quality product from BDI and Wayfair. Every step from ordering to delivery was first class. Great communication. This is. It an inexpensive piece of furniture but it is something that will last for decades. Assembly was not easy for for one person it took me a day and a half… assembly from Wayfair was not available..
