Great table! It arrived in perfect condition. The legs are screw-in so they install quickly. I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. This one has nicely-shaped legs. I didn't try the extension mechanism yet. I only wish it had come in black but the gray color is nice.. Sandra. Chicago, IL. Mon Jul 20 2026

WARNING: This cross-bar may need to be adjusted for full operation (best before you put the rest of the table together). I had to disconnect the top from the base 3 times to get it right. Default from the factory and the table may not close unless one holds down the side-skirting on the leaf. That sucks. Too far one direction and the table closes, but the leaf will not pivot out. Too far the other direction and the leaf pivots freely, but the table will not close without holding down the side-skirting on the leaf in it's folded position. There's a "sweet spot" such that both operations will work seamlessly. I had to relocate mine about 1/4" inch. It's best if you have a cordless drill and a partner to help. It took 3 attempts to get it right, but once you spend the time to get it right, it's a really nice, small, quaint table that expands easily.. Randy. Boulder, CO. Mon Nov 26 2018

This was difficult to put together as some of the threads for the bolts were not placed straight but at a slight angle. One of the supporting pieces of wood was so bowed the bolt wasnt long enough to reach through without us putting a ton of pressure on the piece to make it lie flat and we could hear it cracking. Also the Allen wrench that came with this was misshapen at the long end making it useless for reaching into the recessed areas to tighten the bolts. We had to go purchase an Allen wrench to make this work. Once put together, it looks nice but this was way too shoddily constructed for the price.. Teresa. Gulfport, MS. Sun Aug 09 2026
