The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern. Ordered two of these individual chairs to complete the set of 4 I got with my extendable table. We didn’t put together the first four (assembly was complimentary with that order) so this was my first time putting them together. Pretty easy and didn’t have much trouble. Love these chairs. They seat is very wide and comfortable. The cross cross back is just the look I was going for. Note that with the matching table, you can’t fit all six chairs under the table. Since our toddler usually sits at the end and likes to get in and out of his seat often during a meal, his chair is usually always pushed out anyway, so this doesn’t bother me, but worth noting. The seat cushions are ones I found at a yard sale so not the right size but good enough for now. The chairs are sturdy and this set overall is the perfect blend of casualfarmhouse without being *too* rustic. Note that the white paint applied to achieve the weathered look is a bit obviousstrong, but I’ve gotten used to it already.. Alexis. Leonardtown, MD. Mon Sep 01 2025

These chairs are perfect for my table. They look great and are very comfortable too. The chair seat is a very neutral almost oatmeal looking color which blends well into a room already containing greys and cream colors with accents of blue. The wood is a medium tone and easily goes with the other different wood tones in the room. I highly recommend these chairs.. Robyn. Palm Bay, FL. Sun Apr 12 2026

This mid-century modern dining chair combines style and comfort with its unique design. The oval wooden back and padded seat provide ergonomic support, and the soft fabric cushions provide a pleasant touch and great wraparound comfort. The backrest is decorated with woven rattan elements, adding a touch of natural texture and exquisite style. The breathable mesh backrest is flexible and breathable, perfect for long-term use. Each leg is equipped with an adjustable footrest, which can easily adapt to uneven floors. Whether in the dining room or living room, its stylish details and excellent comfort will add the finishing touch to any home decoration.

Love, love, love these chairs! They are ergonomically comfortable. They are sassy and sweet, fun and serious. I had chunky oak second hand furniture forever before buying these and I am surprised how sturdy hey are with their pencil thin legs. Easy to assemble too.. Anonymous. Long Grove, IA. Sun Apr 12 2026
