The chair is attractive and comfortable, but it was not manufactured with care. One of the back brackets was not attached at the correct angle, so the chair back would not go down all the way. I bought two of these barrel chairs for a side space in a bedroom. They were packed extremely well and assembly was limited to putting legs on the chair and ottoman. Both were considered to be sturdy and comfortable. The stitching appeared tight and the accents were solid. They are comfortable to sit in, but they are small so a larger person might want to consider that.
