The only negative thing I have to say is the drawers are super thin and not very deep which is expected with the width of the island without the leaf up. This is a nice piece and looks like the picture. However, be warned, this is a very complicated DIY assembly. I have lots of experience in that area and generally enjoy assembly and this took me 4-5 hours to assemble. This has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Assembly was long, but straightforward. We did have an issue with the handle on the trash tilt-out thing. This island is exactly what ive been looking for. Unlike many others I have seen this one has the bonus of being double sided so there is a lot of storage space. The drop leaves on each end make it perfect for narrower kitchens and it is a fairly easy build if you are experienced with building flat packs. The instructions say its a two person build but I did it by myself in about five hours, you just need to think outside the box when it comes to some of the more fiddly pieces. For people that want real dimensions to keep in mind for their space, this cart is 60” wide in total with the towel rack and spice rack on either side, it’s 35.5” tall with the wheels, and it’s approx 17.4” deep with the drop leaf down. I don’t feel that the dimensions given in the description truly reflected these overall dimensions. Besides that, I’m glad I bought this.
