The 1.18-inch-thick MDF top showcases authentic natural wood grain, delivering both beauty and durability—scratch-, stain-, and splinter-resistant for effortless upkeep. Thoughtful side storage includes a felt-lined drawer, two cabinets, and built-in slots for four wine bottles, keeping napkins, utensils, and dinnerware dust-free and within reach. I absolutely love this island! I had been wanting it for months, but it was out of stock. The moment I saw it was back, I ordered it immediately! It was super easy to assemble by myself and took about 2 hours. The only disappointment was the delayed delivery and that it arrived with two noticeable crackschipped areas on the side panels—one is very visible. I submitted a report and hope to have this resolved because otherwise, I absolutely love it!. Lucia H. Nuevo Laredo Tm. Fri Sep 04 2026

Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Also there were a couple of small nicks (minor) on the black wood, but decided to keep it since it’s a hassle to return. Overall pretty happy with the cart.. Lorette. Arvada, CO. Sat May 16 2026

It’s a very nice kitchen island, especially considering that it’s made of plywood. I will say that it sits a little higher than my countertops than I expected, even though I measured beforehand. Just what I was looking for in a real solid wood kitchen island on a budget! It fits our space & is a basic style for a good price. It is a soft wood (fir) so you do have to be gentle with it & it did come with some shipping/packaging character marks, but our style is rustic/vintage so it works just fine.
