This arrived quickly. Instructions were easy to follow. Says two people to assemble, would have been faster with two, but I did it alone with some well positioned leaning supports to add bottom rails to sides. I ordered the full sized bed with trundle bed for my grandchildren. This bed was not as easy to put together as I thought it would be. It is definitely a 2-person job for parts of it, mostly to be sure you are both interpreting the instructions correctly. The instructions are like one of those optical illusions that change with your focus and everything could be a different direction. All instructions should be like Lego instructions that have the new parts highlighted and the parts that are already put together darkened. The slats that hold the bed are not fastened down so if you are stepping through them without the mattress on, they will just come off. If you take the mattress off at an angle, the slats will come off. That is irritating, but they do seem to stay in place once a mattress is flat on it. The mattress needs to be at least 12 inches high if you don’t want a gap between the mattress and the bottom of the wood back so you don’t drop things behind the bed. The plug works great, but, in my opinion, should be on one side or the other. Probably the side with the shelving. The wood barn-like boards are DEFINITELY NOT white. They are an off-white to beige. The metal pieces are pure white. I was hoping for white, but I’m getting used to the color now. It is sturdy when put together, but again, be careful with the instructions. Change your focus and you will put things on backwards. I still have a small twin mattress on the bed as I wait for the full sized mattress to arrive. The drawers are made of canvas with flat bottoms inserted. The shelves are very sturdy. They are not adjustable. [Storage Space] There are many built-in storage shelves on the headboard and side of the daybed, which provide you plenty of storage space. The shelves are equipped with sliding doors to protect your private things.

Perfect for my tween's room! Lots of storage space is a plus. Overall the assembly directions were clear and easy to follow, although some steps could be broken down a bit further. One assembly issue that came up for us was the lack of pre-made pilot holes for several of the screws. Having the predrilled holes would have assisted with proper placement and saved our hands from blisters, as we had to apply so much pressure (instructions indicate not to use a power drill).. Heidi. Great experience. Delivery was awesome. I am a 68 yo widow and I put it together by myself. They make it almost impossible to make a mistake because of the way the holes are aligned. Nothing is perfect, and this was not. A couple slats were cracked, but did not affect the integrity. One of the Allen screws did not have the hex shape removed, so could only hand tighten, which did not tighten it at all. There were no extra screws, perhaps the will send me another to replace it. I have to admit I am very impressed. I thought it was going to be some lightweight MDF but it is much more solid than I expected! The instructions could be a bit clearer but they were easy enough to follow along. I took one star out because I think it’s a bit more yellow in real life than in the picture. I did the bookshelf part with my husband but realistically I could’ve done it all by myself, as long as you have enough space and don’t need to lift the pieces once they’re assembled.
