The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Took 24 minutes to build and was very easy to put together. Scan the code and watch the video much easier then looking at the pictures. The photo showed a height of 24.8" its actually 25.2" which made it not fit under my desk but the specifications shows 26" so should've read that. This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. It is a 2 person job to put together but unfortunately we had to recruit a third, my daughter who was the most limber and had small hands to be able to finish putting it together. I'm very pleased with my recent purchase of the Inbox Zero Malaja 4-Drawer Locking Metal Vertical File Cabinet (black, without casters). I received the cabinet the day after the order was placed. item was well-packaged and undamaged, with all pieces enclosed. It took two people to assemble it. However, the instructions left a lot to be desired; a video would be more helpful - we actually found one online posted by another vendor and used it to confirm our setup. Due to space limitations, the cabinet is sitting in my L/R next to a large traditional piece of cherry wood furniture - and it actually blends in nicely. Purchased this in black. Arrived with great packaging. No scratches or dents. Not super thick or heavy metal but will work for my home office. I was not able to add the casters as the wheels added height and it would not fit under my desk. So there is about an inch or inch and a half gap between the top of the file cabinet and my desk. The only complaint I have is the top drawer does not pull out all the way. There are several inches of space at the back of the drawer that can't been seen. Seems like wasted space. It's a good value. There were two of us putting it together and it took 1-1/2 hours to assemble it. The instructions could be clearer. If you stop and look at the picture at the back of the instruction booklet, it's easier to figure out what's what. All the screws, pieces, screwdriver and gloves were included. There was a small problem with a bowed side panel which caused both drawers on that side to not be flush when closed but it's not that obvious and still locks fine. The finish is nice. This cabinet did not have any reviews, but we were looking for something that had 2 file cabinets, shelving and approximately 15 inch depth for a printer to sit in the top. This item fit the bill. It came with a lot of parts, but my handy husband put it together in less than an hour without any issues.
