• We have taken all precautions in the construction to prevent damage to this item due to shrinkage or expansion. However, wood can expand or shrink as a result of changes in temperature and humidity. Control of the humidity and temperature of the environment will minimize this effect.
• All wood used is reclaimed wood from doors and structural beams of old and antique buildings. Therefore variation in structure and color is possible. Furthermore, the wood can contain natural cracks and holes. Large holes are repaired with patches of the same wood.
• The wood is not protected against stains. Tops need to be protected before first use. We will provide you with a natural wood sealer ® (free of charge). This water-based impregnation oil offers protection but hardly changes the original unfinished look.
