Nice looking but rather thin for velvet

Favorite!! Wish I had this in every color. Adds the perfect touch of elegance and grace to our bedroom.

I love this whole ensemble with these exceptions: #1 The extreme folding marks on the velvet from the cardboard. Both the bedspread and the curtains have these crush marks. I’ve tried everything to make them better. It’s been 2+ months now and they’re still there. Lines all over the spread and the curtains. #2 The bedspread has a zippered lining so it can be used as a duvet? That’s nice -with two exceptions: *The top area measures 77x79! There is no such insert or blanket in those dimensions. Does this manufacturer offer one? *Because of the lining it bunches and makes it impossible to smooth the wrinkles it causes. There’s no disguising them due to the thinness of the velvet. Add on comment: I contacted the manufacturer to ask if they would exchange the curtain panel that is of a different dye lot. I told them I would accept the different curtain lengths as well as the extreme crush marks I haven’t been successful in repairing. I asked them to exchange the one panel and their response was (in my words-No - too bad- so sad) can’t help you- but we’ll give you a 20% discount if you want to make another purchase. I have spent over $1,000 for bedspread with shams, 4 curtains and one ruffled pillow. Yet they want an unopened return. WHY? So they can resell it and have the same issue with another trusting buyer? So a heads up to you if your heart is set on this bed ensemble. If you have a quality control issue be prepared to accept all problems as your responsibility.

The style is exactly what I wanted but I was disappointed in how thin the velvet is. The top part of the spread is lined but the skirt is not, and it is terribly transparent. I ordered the cream color and the colorful patterned bedsheets I’m using show through it.

The color is beautiful exactly as described, the quality of the velvet is even better than I imagined very much worth the price.
