I am satisfied with this purchase. Nice table. Little hard to put all parts together, but with the instructions I did it easy. Like it in my room.

At less than $500, I did not expect a solid oak or solid pine piece of furniture. But the parts of this table are made with the cheapest quality particleboard. Often just trying to screw a screw in with the screwdriver, the particleboard came a little bit apart and crumbled. The bottom of the drawers, which are no more than a thick piece of cardboard, were to be nailed in with finishing nails. There was no slot for the bottom panel as is with other furniture. Additionally, the shipment arrived poorly packaged on the outside so there was damage done to the parts on the inside and I had to get another table delivered. Also, the instructions are very very poor. I have just finished assembling five other pieces of furniture this week, all of them had step-by-step page by page instructions with close-up views, and numbered parts. The instructions for this piece of furniture was a single page two-sided. There were no close-ups, much of the assembly I had to figure out on my own through trial and error. Likewise, all of the tiny screws and bolts and hinges in other parts, were placed together in one single thin plastic bag. This plastic bag tore during delivery, and all of the parts spilled out into the container and eventually out of the container. They were not separated as you might fine with other pieces of furniture. Even the bottom edges of the table, the part that will sit on the floor is unfinished particleboard. There is no tape, paint, or other surface applied to the bottom. There is only plastic nailing foot taps. Overall a very poor piece of furniture, poor quality, poor assembly instructions. A real nightmare. Go with anything else you can find.

Putting this table together was a major task. It took me 8 hours and I had to re-do a number of steps. The primary reason for this had to do with the ridiculously bad assembly instructions. They consist of a single double-sided piece of paper with small drawings and details that are just about impossible to make out. There is almost nothing in the way of written directions, only a number of bad drawings. The drawings themselves lack critical information, leaving the assembler to guess the proper placement or alignment of an item. The hundreds of little parts were all thrown into a single plastic bag that was too thin and broke during shipment, which left all of the parts strewn throughout the box when I opened it. The quality of the pressboard wood is ok, but there were a few dings and minor crushed edges. The quality of the wood finish and the hardware is only fair - this is not a Denmark-quality product. The finished product looks ok. It is evident that it is an 'assembled' piece of furniture, though, and not something purchased from a quality furniture store. Would I purchase this again? Maybe. The price was more than 4 times less than a similar item I saw at a furniture store. If you do purchase this item, I highly recommend selecting the option to have someone put it together for you. For someone who has assembled many pieces of furniture in the past, this really was a frustrating mess to build.

At first I was so happy with my table then I noticed it starting to bubble up in between the drop leaf edge due to cleaning it!! I’ve only had it for 3 months !! Im so disappointed because its only going to get worse every time i clean it.

Impossible to put together. Had a Handy person come for 2 hours and he finished less than 14 of the table. A friend put most of it together who is a handyman and it took over 5 hours. The handles on the table are cheap and it’s an overall pretty crummy table. Do not recommend.

Table is bigger than I expected but fits well in our space. Box was falling apart upon delivery and parts of the table were scuffed or scratched (

This table is heavy and feels very sturdy, it looks really nice, but the instructions were written entirely in Polish and cartooninternational symbols. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY AND EXAMINE EVERY PIECE IN THE PACKAGE BEFORE YOU START CONSTRUCTING IT. I made the mistake of putting it together one step at a time and ended up messing up the rightleft specified pieces a few times, resulting in a few holes where the hardware wasn’t supposed to go. Also, the hardware came jumbled together in one huge sandwich-type bag, so dump it out in a bowl and COUNT YOUR PIECES before you start building. I like this table I just wish it wasn’t such a nightmare to put together.
