If you are purchasing a tempur-pedic mattress, I was told that one must buy this mattress protector for the mattress warranty to be in affect. Otherwise the warranty is Voided. Its a nice protector, but not worth the money.

I haven’t tested the water resistance but I can assure this is a not a cooling product. I own a tempur a pedic mattress with cooling technology, which I love, but this mattress protector undoes all the cooling effects of the mattress. It does not have the cooling technology as it claims. It is also very large on the mattress even though it is a tempur a pedic pad made for a tempur a pedic mattress.
