I just love it! We needed a clock/thermometer combo for our patio that could be seen from the house (my husbands desk looks out on the patio) and be heavy enough that it wouldn't fly off when things get windy where we live. (We get micro-bursts as well as high MPH winds where we live...) I also wanted something good looking. This hit all the marks, was a great value for what it is, plus it has a Hygrometer, which tracks humidity. The back of the unit "key holes" sit down over the screw heads and the clock itself is weighty and broad. Between both of those features, I expect it will stay put even in the windiest conditions we get around here. The wall hole provides unlimited possibilities for placement. You can place it on the table or hang it on the wall at will. Works well, if you are able to set up. The clock face is made of pieces of paper which are inserted into tiny slots on the clock. After delivery a lot of the pieces were misaligned or off completely. This traditionally styled German quartz cuckoo clock accurately keeps time and the cuckoo bird comes out to cuckoo on the hour.. The hand-carved case features five leaves and a bird. Two decorative pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two chains. On every hour the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and counts the hour by cuckooing once per hour. (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times). This cuckoo clock has an on/off switch and a light sensor that silences the clock when it is dark.
