This is a great little cuckoo clock! I've always wanted a cuckoo clock but couldn't spend a ton for a real one. We got this when it was on sale and it's perfect. It's not too big, which is nice, and it's a very nice color with lovely gold highlights. It keeps time very accurately. The only issue is that the sound of the cuckoo could be a little better... it's doesn't sound exactly like a traditional cuckoo clock but I'm quite happy with it regardless.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece! The high quality German craftsmanship really shines through. Cuckoo time is now a special event in our house my daughter comes running when she hears it and shes sad if she misses it. I love that you can adjust the volume, turn the music on or off, and even turn off the cuckoo if you want. The light sensor is also a great feature. Much more practical than a traditional weighted clock in my opinion.

I always dream of having a coo coo clock,for over 44 years of marriage and five awesome Children and 6 Grandchild ,later I thought it was Time to Treat myself and it can always be in our Family.Am the Happiest girl in the world...

These are just perfect. Exactly what you would be expecting when ordering a wall clock like this. The time keeps very well and the piece is a true piece of art. Every time I look at it I find another little detail that I didn't remember seeing before. I just love this piece!

LOVE this clock. I bought it for my husband to hang above a doorway in our kitchen. I love how the bird pops out of the house every hour. The coo-coo sound is also very clear and nice. Many people have commented how unique it is when they come over to our house. Worth every penny!!

I live near the German like town of Leavenworth WA and have been wanting a cukoo clock for years now but the prices....are just to high to justify in my mind on a clock....to my delight Wayfair had a sale and sent me a email showing clocks.....I went right over to my husbands office and showing him the picture, which is one of the larger clocks I have seen and at such a great price so....one minute later it was ours...this is a well made clock with many options to personalize the sound and play just how you would like. It keeps excelent time and reminds me of my home growing up....I came to the US from Germany when I was young and with all my relatives older than myself now having passed on this prompts my memories of happy times, while I am making new ones....You will not be disapointed with this purchase.

I have two of these small wall clocks made in Germany, and this third one is a gift to us for Christmas. We won’t see it till then, but the other two are beautiful and work great! I’ll update my review then.

I really like this clock! Its a little smaller than anticipated, but I changed where I to hang it and its perfect! It is hanging on the wall directly above my computer desk and looks great! Also, it doesnt cuckoo numerous times on the hour.....just one chirp, so its not disturbing at all!! Next time, I will order a much larger clock! Wayfair....Im a forever client!

This clock is beautifully crafted and the cuckoo has the nicest tone. The music that plays after the cuckoo is enjoyable and very satisfying. The instructions are simple and this was easily set up without any problems. I purchased this to replace a previous cuckoo clock I had, that fell off the wall and broke; and although I was heartsick about the broken clock, this clock is a fantastic replacement.

Awesome cuckoo clock for the money! My husband has wanted one for years & I gave it to him for his birthday last month. He was so excited! One of the great features is that if it senses darkness in the room, the clock does not cuckoo. Hence, you can put it in a bedroom. This clock is very good quality & workmanship. I would totally recommend this clock to anyone.

I really love this Cuckoo wall clock. I am just not sure it is a genuine Black Forest cuckoo clock and probably should have not cost as much as I paid. I read that Black Forest cuckoo Clocks "come with a certificate -- written in German -- from the Black Forest Clock Association." The only paperwork that came with my clock is a brochure from a company called Engstler. The real Black Forest cuckoo clocks are supposed to have either a serial number or manufacturer name stamped on the back of the clock. My clock has a number written in pen somewhere on the back. I also noticed a discrepancy in the clock I received versus the one depicted on the website. My clock came with a black face behind the hands. I like the look of the brown face in the website photo better. I do love that the bird comes out of the house and cuckoos the number of times as the hour and that it plays a little melody after that. It has a night feature so that it is quiet if the room it is in is dark. In any event I would probably buy it again because I do like it.

I love it! I had one that my mother gave me years ago, but it got overwound and stopped working. This one uses one AA battery. I am thrilled to have found a replacement.

I love the craftsmanship, history and that it is hanging on my wall! This is not a clock for everyone, but for me it is part of my family history. I will make one correction in the clocks' description though - the clock hands AND deer horns are plastic.

When the cluck in our Cuckoo died after 37yrs. we searched for a replacement. This clock was almost exactly the same as our old clock. It arrived sooner than expected and in excellent condition. We totally expect it to last just as long. Pros: A good price considering other places we searched Cons: We would have prefered black or tarnished bronze to the shiney gold chain and numbers, but time will change that shine

I purchased this to give as a Christmas present for a friend who collects different kinds of clocks. They reported that it arrived in perfect condition and looks great in their front room. It keeps perfect time and has a nice tone when it rings. It made a perfect gift for a clock collector!

I had a Cuckoo Clock that I brought back with me from Europe in 1965. Unfortunately it fell and broke recently. I have been looking for a new one and found this one on Wayfair. Quite Expensive-but well worth every penny. I had a handy man come set it up and it is elegant. It has moving parts, plays 12 tunes, and the Cuckoo does his job every hour.My little Scottish Terrier loves to sit and look at it and listen to all the things it does. I will always treasure this clock!!! Letty

I was skeptical when I saw this little cuckoo clock. It is made of plastic, but don’t let that fool you, I think it keeps the best time of any clock I have. It cuckoos on the hour and the doors open right above the clock and a little bird comes out. I was really astonished at how cute it is! I hung it in the beginning of my hallway so you can even see it in the living room. Everyone comes and stands in front of it when it’s close to the hour because it sounds great and the sound is adjustable,. For example if it’s 5 o’clock the little doors open and the little bird comes out and Cuckoos five times. It’s a wonderful piece And very comforting to sit and watch the pendulum swing!
