Extremely happy with these. Elevated, modern. Clean style, definitely mirrored glass. No pearl iridescence, just plain silver grey mirrored color. They are pretty substantially weighted. I’d say they’re good for small medium sized books 8-12 inches tall maybe only 5-6 large books too. Any larger and more quantity of books they may not be able to hold well by itself just not heavy enough. Highly recommend. Breather. Plantation, FL. Sat Oct 12 2024

Bring a sleek ocean accent to your shelves with this set of 2 decorative whale tail bookends from Things2Die4. The sculptural silhouette captures the upward curve of a whale tail in a clean, contemporary form that feels at home in coastal, nautical, and modern interiors. Each piece measures 7 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 2.75 inches deep, giving the set a noticeable presence without overwhelming a bookshelf, desk, or tabletop. This is a freestanding decorative bookend set designed for indoor use. These bookends are made of cast aluminum. The finish is silver metallic with subtle texture and reflective highlights. The set includes two matching pieces. The hollow interior helps keep the pieces lighter and easier to reposition than a fully solid form, while the broad base gives each one a stable footprint for display on flat surfaces. The whale tail shape creates a striking profile whether the bookends are used with books or styled as standalone shelf accents. Their silver tone works easily with black shelving, wood furniture, glass surfaces, and neutral color palettes. Place them on a home office desk to frame reference books, on a living room bookcase to add a marine-inspired detail, or on a console or side table as sculptural decor. The design has a refined look that complements beach house spaces as well as more streamlined contemporary rooms. This set offers a strong visual presence and a compact footprint for shelf and tabletop styling. Each bookend weighs about 0.6 pounds; the set totals 1.2 pounds. No assembly required. For care, dust with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the metallic finish. Made in India, this two-piece set offers a polished way to bring sea life style to a study, entryway, bedroom, or office while keeping your display visually balanced and cohesive.
