Really happy with these decorative storage boxes overall. They look beautiful styled together, but I actually ended up separating them throughout different areas of my home to help tie everything together design-wise. The pattern and wood tones are even prettier in person and look much more high end than I expected. I use the medium-sized box on my coffee table to store remotes, coasters, and other small items I want within reach but not sitting out all the time, and it works perfectly for that. The quality feels solid and they’re functional while still looking decorative. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a slight “basement” type smell inside the boxes when I first opened them. Not a dealbreaker and I’m sure it’ll fade over time, but definitely worth mentioning. Overall though, great decorative storage pieces and I’d still recommend them.. Jas H. Los Angeles, CA. My daughter loves boxes. One year I got her a cardboard box shaped like a book with Santa on the front we folded up money (small bills) put it in the box because she asked Santa for money. She loves that book box still. I saw these knew she’d fall in love with them. They are good quality, but between fair good. No, I would not recommend them kids under 8yrs, anyone older yes. The more you use these the more it’s going to wear the seam it will start to tear. The hinged side could do with a nicer finish on the interior. It’s a very thin material on the box. With all that in mind if you’re using these to hide candy from your kids on a bookshelf it looks like a book will do well. There is nothing written on the spine so it may not hide like a book from older ppl, but little kids definitely. I love that there’s 3 in varying sizes, it’ll be great for her to put whatever she’s hiding from her sister in. I got these for Easter for her I know she’ll be excited, especially when she opens it finds more.. Deborah. US. Sat Apr 05 2025
