They are perfect for hiding any small loose items while looking stylish and clean. The boxes have nice weight to them, they are not heavy but not too light. The green color is perfect for my house color scheme. On the outside, the material is leather like with perfect stitching and gold accent handle that make these boxes look stylish and expensive. The stitching is very straight and even, no skipping, fraying or loose threads. On the inside, it is not bare wood, it has material that is kinda like velvet and js light beige in color. It goes perfect with darker rich green and gold. So these boxes are not just decorative, they are great multitaskers. My only complaint about these is that the gold handle is somewhat loose on one of the boxes and it would be hard to tighten it since everything is covered by fabric. Other than that these a re great. Nice hinged boxes with metal pull. The white is a “chalky” finish. I ended up spray painting them with a white gloss so they wouldn’t get scratched and discolored. They do have tiny rubber feet as well. The lid has an inset, about a 1/2” for extra space.
