Good lookquality for the price. Actually, better quality than some more expensive pieces I’ve gotten from the home decor store that starts with a Z, and the one that starts with a C and ends with a 2. I was surprised how large the bigger box looks in person (it’s fine since I measured ahead of time so it works in the space, just visually it’s bigger than I expected). At the same time, I expected to use the smaller one for remotes and while they’ll fit, the larger one works much better for this, so I had to do a little shifting around and experimenting compared to what I envisioned, just recommend double checking measurements ahead of time.. Pretty nice looking boxes. Nothing super spectacular, but nice. They were packaged pretty well, except there should have been some padding between the latch of the small box and the inside of the larger box. The latch on the small box punctured the inside of the larger box in shipping. It's not a big enough deal to me to get them replaced, but something to note. Hopefully that's not the norm. Nice hinged boxes with metal pull. The white is a “chalky” finish. I ended up spray painting them with a white gloss so they wouldn’t get scratched and discolored. They do have tiny rubber feet as well. The lid has an inset, about a 1/2” for extra space. Found this as it was the perfect height and width for where I needed something for a background. I'm glad I ordered the black with gold accents. Shipping was perfect as each box was individually boxed and wrapped in paper. However, the problem was in the manufacturing of the item. The largest bottom box had the top and bottom latches were lopsided. And of course, it can't be fixed. It hooks shut but is quite noticeable. Sloppiness at the factory? I made it work by covering that part, so my eyes don't dart to it every time I see it. Still a very good purchase for the money and what I needed.
