It's a nice clock, compact, taking up little space on my table. I wanted an atomic clock that would set itself, which this one does. But, the display on this clock is not visible from across the room. You have to push the button to light it up to see it from any distance, and that doesn't work unless you are close enough to reach it and push the button. Circular brushed Thermometer and Hygrometer dials show in room temperature and humidity. A unique subdial shows the daily progress from the sun to the evening much like a traditional moon dial. The quartz movement uses an AA battery (not included).

Even the 'quiet' alarm is kind of loud. It's startling compared to my cellphone alarm (good for people who sleep through those?) The Weekday/ Weekend alarm is misleading- the only settings were Monday-Friday, or Every Day. I like the 'voice activate' feature though- if you completely dim the display, it shows up again at a loud enough sound. No extra light in my room at night.
