I ordered the 3 piece alarm modern and contemporary tabletop clocks which arrived in a few days. The clocks colors are blue, green and pink. They have gold-colored 2 legs and a stand on the back to hold the clock up. They are approximately 6 tall and round. The minute hand has the numbers in 5 minute increments. One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities. When Piet Hein Eek started his Tube series for LEFF amsterdam, his starting point for the Tube Clock’s dial was an extrusion ring. Extrusion moulding is a design technique that involves forcing materials through a mould, the extrusion profile is what gives the material its shape. Piet Hein devised a ring like that for the design of the clock face. A good idea can be surprisingly simple – often the simplest solutions have not yet been invented. This clock could have been designed a century ago, it’s actually a textbook example of LEFF Amsterdam’s philosophy: the idea of keeping things normal and down-to-earth, but still extraordinary. The alarm and snooze function are situated in the back of the Tube to not disrupt the design.

Even the 'quiet' alarm is kind of loud. It's startling compared to my cellphone alarm (good for people who sleep through those?) The Weekday/ Weekend alarm is misleading- the only settings were Monday-Friday, or Every Day. I like the 'voice activate' feature though- if you completely dim the display, it shows up again at a loud enough sound. No extra light in my room at night.
