Product looked nothing like the photos. The photos depict what looks like unfinished suar wood. The piece that I received was covered with a putrid, yellowy paint wash of some kind. I tried to sand it off but that made it even worse. I’ve purchased Ibolili pieces in the past and have loved the natural variations, but this was something entirely unexpected. Too bad … it would have been gorgeous had they not painted it.. Roxanne. Tampa, FL. Mon Jun 23 2025

Erosion is a fascinating process in which wood and stone are broken down over time and relocated by the invisible hand of mother nature herself. When the wood begins to erode, it can develop into unbelievably captivating shapes that defy imagination. Phillips Collection’s erosion sculpture on the stand is a recreation of this natural phenomenon that demonstrates the unique forms wood can take when introduced to the elements. Constructed from teak wood in a bleached finish, the erosion sculpture is mounted to a matte black iron stand that gives this piece a splash of modern flair.

The large teak wood ball is a natural wonder. We've taken gigantic pieces of root and honed them into a decorative sculpture that maintains its natural character due to the fissures that were eaten into its surface. As we shaped the teak wood into a ball, we brought a beautiful sheen to the finished piece and refined the character that only nature can achieve. Given the shape is decidedly contemporary, this wood ball reflects the modern organic ethos embraced.

This item wasnt delivered and the replacement also didnt arrive. They are saying Im not due my replacement or a refund because the time they are saying it was delivered has expired but I let them know that the item was missing well before the time frame. They are also stating that the item was delivered but I had two items delivered that day and the other item was larger. I think if someone took it they would of taken both items. Now the only way to get a replacement or refund is to make a police report. This is for a 30 something item. Completely ridiculous. Barbara. Tue Jun 10 2025
