Own a piece of Civil War history, a single civil war token is displayed in a mat and clear protective sleeve. From 1861 to 1864, as the Civil War raged on the battlefields, another sort of war was fought in the streets and shops of America. It was a battle against the hardship of scarcity of U.S. Mint coins. Citizens fought back by using privately issued tokens, many carrying strong political sentiments. The tokens were made of a variety of metals; copper or brass, nickel or German silver, alloys or Silver. These are valuable pieces of American history.

Witness the interesting evolution of the American cent with our collection of historic 20th century pennies. It begins with the classic Indian Head cent - Liberty in a war bonnet - minted from 1859 to 1909. Includes the Lincoln Wheat Ear cent, 1909 to 1958...the Lincoln steel cent, made only in 1943 to conserve copper for the war effort, and the Lincoln Memorial copper cent, 1959 to 1982. And finally, the copper plated zinc Lincoln memorial cent, introduced in 1982 and still in use.

DECOMIL Military Collectible Challenge Coin Holder (Medium, 2 Rows) Solid Walnut

Extremely poor quality product. Not only do my coins not fit, they only go partway in on one side of the holder. Second, the wood has plenty of chips and nicks that are definitely not from shipping damage. And last but not least, the recessed channels were not cut properly as they are not symmetrical and show machining marks. Overall. I am extremely disappointed in this product and it is absolutely not worth the money I paid for it. I now have to look for alternatives to display my military coins.. Dominic. Mississauga, ON. This patriotic sculpture makes a stunning gift for animal lovers as well as for those who love their country and treasure its freedom.

I love this Eagle. The only reason I am Not giving it 5 stars is because, as you can see from my photo, it does not look like the advertised photo. I purchased this item because it looked so real with its white “bald eagle” head and white feathers. There are no white features or feathers at all. Its head and feet are gold and the rest is all solid black. It does not rest on the stand very firmly no matter how tightly I turn the screw and wing nut. This makes me nervous that it will fall over. A small piece of the right wing was broken off, and I didn’t see it in the box but, you can barely notice it. Other than that, (and for the price especially) it is really quite beautiful and the detail is remarkable. It is a good solid weight too. I love it. I am already looking forward to my next purchase(s)!. Laurie. Riverview, FL. Sun Jan 10 2021
