Looks good, sturdy & well-made. Real wood & real glass, as described. Accurate color. Disappointed, though, with the size, strength & shape of the metal tabs that hold the backing to the frame: Very hard to remove to slide the photo inside, and very hard to put back in because the end has to pierce the wood but the tab is too small and weak for easy handling & driving in.. I would have given this 5 stars, because the frame overall is nice. However, the description is not accurate. The 16x20 and 20x30 frames that I received were plastic and not glass, as clearly indicated in the descriptions, which was one of the reasons why I chose this particular frame. So i'm very disappointed in that feature.. Shaun. Peoria, AZ. Mon Jul 13 2026

Hexagons tile the border of this frame in a repeating geometric run, which gives an ordinary photo frame something to say. Buying out a Brittania manufacturer in 1826, Henry G. Reed and Charles Barton (more famously known as Reed & Barton) started producing sterling silver flatware in 1889. Reed & Barton is best known for being a stickler about producing only high-quality items, and they refuse to dabble in lower-priced silver items. Crafted from tarnish-resistant silverplate, Reed & Barton's Plated Giftware is the gift that keeps on giving.

Alabaster has a softness other stones give up in exchange for hardness, and it shows in the way this frame handles light across its face. Veining shifts piece to piece, so the border varies from one to the next. Set it on a dresser or a desk, where stone brings a little gravity to a small photo.

I was a backer for the pre-production of the CATastrophe: A Game of 9 Lives on Kickstarter. I was able to purchase exclusive limited editions mini posters of some of the cats featured. I bought 4, and they are so nice, I decided I needed simple frames to put them in, and hang them on a wall, which will probably be the short one leading back to my bathroom. These are purrfect, and now I will need 2 more for the remaining posters. I bought the 11 x 17 size, which is the exact size of the posters.
