Our Eloise Embroidered Vintage Pillow Cover has humble roots - We found her in an old French shabby elegance textile - originally, she was printed but we decided to pull off the gorgeous damask and use embroidery to create her silhouette. She is the perfect size to fit on any chair or couch as a finishing accent or standing on her own.

This pillow cover looked like good quality in the images and it didn't disappoint in person either. The embroidery is so nicely done, and it really has an upscale feel to it and looks like it could have been a lot more expensive. I got this pillow for my toddler's room to coordinate with her new area rug and it's the perfect size for an accent pillow on a twin bed. The zipper is nice quality and works smoothly. I'm including pictures since the color looked slightly different to me than it did online. It has a blush-brown look online, but in person I found it was a true light brown with no hint of blush. Our Kaylee shibori tufted pillow cover was inspired by two things - a shibori textile pattern we found while vintage shopping and our love of tufted stripes. We couldn't be happier with the result. Shibori is a Japanese technique of wringing and pressing textiles to create a pattern that spreads unevenly across the fabric. The resulting patterns are often emblematic of japan's appreciation of the beauty of imperfection. We used a very soft open weave cotton slub fabric to further create a relaxed perfectly imperfect shibori-inspired pillow.

Part of vintage modern collection we decided to do something a little different and block print the pattern on to the softest most supple open weave cotton we could find. Why you ask? The more open weave cotton slub fabric offers no resistance - it acts almost as linen does when it's been washed and washed - but without the wrinkles. This creates a gorgeous vintage vibe yet we keep things sweet and oh-so-classic by block printing our stripes. And the magic happened.
