At first glance, I thought there was a white stain. I’m not sure if you can see it in photo but this is where the furhide turns direction. The material is comprised of real leather hide strips woven together to create a basket weave look. They are soft to the touch not at all itchy or scratchy and hold their shape well. They did not have and odor at all as some pillows or upholster furniture does. These are the perfect accent pillow for my new barrel chairs.
