Brutalist iron centerpiece bowl with the braised brass accent on edges. The bowl is sealed with a matte lacquer to retard oxidation.

Apparently a lot of people loved this as it was on back order for about 6 weeks. I see why. This is a GORGEOUS bowl. I was looking for something to replace a piece I I had bought from Wayfair years ago - a glass urn on a metal base - that unfortunately broke. I have copper accents in my neutral grey and khaki/bisque living room - table lamps etc - and wanted something that would pull the grays, in the room, together with the copper. I looked everywhere and finally hit on this. It's perfect. No flaws, the copper around the rim is subtle but makes the piece unique, it arrived in excellent condition and works perfectly with my room. I couldn't be happier.. Anonymous. Howell, MI. A highly reactive Raku-like glaze on porcelain. The intense reaction the glaze produces in the kiln creates random crystalline metallic areas on the bronze matte finish.

Arrived on time, packaged very well. Rated at 4 stars due to the quality of the bowl and felt the piece was a bit pricey.. Ilona. Surrey, Bc Canada. Sun Feb 16 2020

This graceful product is delicately hand-carved of Ambaji white marble from the Udaipur region of India.

Hours and hours are spent by a ceramic artist to painstakingly form, pinch and shape the porcelain clay into these master forms which are not only beautiful and unusual but have the structural integrity to maintain their shapes when fired. The coup de grace is the extreme variation in subtle color and opacity of the reactive glaze - a range from dusty browns and grays to clear golden citron.

The piece arrived very quickly and the quality was what I expected. However, the coloring was different from what I expected. The online photos showed a rust color veining, but in person it was more of a "dirty, earthy green" color veining. I am still hoping to make it work in the room, but the rust color would have been perfect, so I'm a little disappointed.. Lori. Dallas, TX. Fri Mar 22 2024

The iron "nuggets" of this bowl are reclaimed scraps of metal from the factory floor which have been repurpBronzeosed with great imagination. The individual pieces have been welded together in irregular shapes, then torched. Recycling at its best!

Our Crackled Footed ceramics are crafted using an ancient Japanese form of firing called "Raku." Raku ware is characterized by beautifully crackled or metallic glazed surfaces as well as blackened unglazed surfaces, both of which are the result of the unique low-firing technique. These specific pieces are created by intricately placing horsehair on the pieces while they are still hot resulting in the stunning crackled finish.
