Place it in the coffee table and you can hide all those remotes, light switches, nail clippers. Place it near the entry door and you can hide your car keys, sunglasses, small wallets, change. Place it in a bedroom and you can hide a small notebook, pen, or use it to store jewelry or watches. My daughter liked these boxes, so I will have to get her another or give these ones to her, she wants to put her hair ties and other kid trinkets in it. They are perfect for hiding any small loose items while looking stylish and clean. The boxes have nice weight to them, they are not heavy but not too light. The green color is perfect for my house color scheme. On the outside, the material is leather like with perfect stitching and gold accent handle that make these boxes look stylish and expensive. The stitching is very straight and even, no skipping, fraying or loose threads. On the inside, it is not bare wood, it has material that is kinda like velvet and js light beige in color. It goes perfect with darker rich green and gold. So these boxes are not just decorative, they are great multitaskers. My only complaint about these is that the gold handle is somewhat loose on one of the boxes and it would be hard to tighten it since everything is covered by fabric. Other than that these a re great.
