The candle itself is very realistic looking, since its made of real wax. The "flame" is realistic looking enough from a distance, which is fine for my use. Each candle takes 2 AAA batteries. I did not know that these Smart touch candles existed. As you can see in my pictures they look like real candles. To turn them off you just tap on the flame.
