Found this as it was the perfect height and width for where I needed something for a background. I'm glad I ordered the black with gold accents. Shipping was perfect as each box was individually boxed and wrapped in paper. However, the problem was in the manufacturing of the item. The largest bottom box had the top and bottom latches were lopsided. And of course, it can't be fixed. It hooks shut but is quite noticeable. Sloppiness at the factory? I made it work by covering that part, so my eyes don't dart to it every time I see it. Still a very good purchase for the money and what I needed. I am very happy with this wooden box. It really looks impressive. I keep this on a side table in the kitchen. Love the vintage look. My husband takes many medicines and I wanted something decorative to keep them in. I have no idea why this item is described as "tan." It is a warm golden color that goes well with the golden oak in my room. My only concern is how it is packaged. This wooden box is inside a cardboard box that is inside an outer carboard box. Packing tape holds both boxes sealed on the top. Getting the outer box open is easy. However, when attempting to open the inner box, DO NOT USE A BLADE IN THE CENTER OF THAT PACKING TAPE.
