All I can say is WOW! First of all, this was packaged beautifully. I opened the box, and found the blanket, a care/product book, a GORGEOUS hand-woven blanket, and a dust bag. I opened the book, and inside was a hand-written note thanking me for my purchase. The blanket is absolutely beautiful, it is the perfect balance of soft and sturdy. It is not a big blanket, so I will keep it at the foot of my bed. Most of all, I love that every time you purchase from this company (Catavento), they donate a blanket to a child in need. Our Palermo throw is handwoven of 100% wool in Buenos Aires, using English looms dating back to the early 1900s. Two yarns of varying weights are combined for a beautiful textural effect in a calming neutral palette.

I absolutely love this throw. It is cozy yet elegant. Gives the room a nice sense of peaceful elegance. It does not feel rough or itchy but soft and comfortable. Wow! What a beautiful wool throw. It is in a lovely muted soft blue that will pretty much go with everything. It came with a beautiful hand written thank you note, which made it extra special.
