This is super cute on my little hallway table!. Christine. Leavenworth, KS. Thu Aug 20 2026

When Piet Hein Eek started his Tube series for LEFF amsterdam, his starting point for the Tube Clock’s dial was an extrusion ring. Extrusion moulding is a design technique that involves forcing materials through a mould, the extrusion profile is what gives the material its shape. Piet Hein devised a ring like that for the design of the clock face. A good idea can be surprisingly simple – often the simplest solutions have not yet been invented. This clock could have been designed a century ago, it’s actually a textbook example of LEFF Amsterdam’s philosophy: the idea of keeping things normal and down-to-earth, but still extraordinary. The alarm and snooze function are situated in the back of the Tube to not disrupt the design.

Really cool looking clock with a serious design DEFECT. Impossible to remove battery cover in order to insert battery. It's plastic and the slot for twisting cover off strips on the first try to open it. Useless item. Returned.. Rita M. US. Wed Mar 27 2024

A classical bedside clock with twin bells for a loud alarm to wake even the deepest sleepers. Durable, metal framework surrounds a white dial and black metal hands. An added bonus of luminous hands and hour dots and a red secondhand to view alarm time. No batteries required.

The clock looked good but did not work. We will shop for one somewhere else.. Thomas. Colorado Springs, CO. Sat Aug 09 2025

Brass finish is more "satin" or brushed than polished brass. Size is perfect for a nightstand. Light is very useful. Alarm is just right. Works smoothly and beautifully.. Maureen. Efland. Sat Oct 03 2026
