Arches soften a shelf full of straight lines, and that is most of what these do beyond holding books upright. Marble keeps them planted, so a leaning row stays put instead of creeping sideways. Their compact scale suits a short run of paperbacks, a stack of cookbooks, or a desk that needs a little order.

Books lean, and these wedges are heavy enough to talk them out of it. Marble does the work, with angled faces that slide under the first and last spine so the stack stays square. Sold as a set of two, they read as objects in their own right on a shelf or desk.

Extremely happy with these. Elevated, modern. Clean style, definitely mirrored glass. No pearl iridescence, just plain silver grey mirrored color. They are pretty substantially weighted. I’d say they’re good for small medium sized books 8-12 inches tall maybe only 5-6 large books too. Any larger and more quantity of books they may not be able to hold well by itself just not heavy enough. Highly recommend. Breather. Plantation, FL. Sat Oct 12 2024
