Love love love this frame. It is thick and was made with quality material. It’s the perfect frame for my law license but a fraction of the cost that the company that made the license charges for frames. This frame is super delicate, highly recommend! Please see my video which shows just how delicate the frame actually is, the white stuff behind the Frame are canvass paper sticking out as well as command hooks so disregard that. We are very happy with this purchase! The blue color is what I expected, a vibrant blue matching perfectly with our painting. The frame is well made. However be aware that the glass in this size of frame is not glass but plastic. It’s ok as it does the job well but you have reflection in it which you can avoid with glass specially treated for it. It's ok. First the good: the style of the frame is attractive and there is a great selection of frame sizes. The frame with glass was well packaged for shipping. The not so good: the front edge of the frame is visibly damaged. (You can see it in the first picture on the right side and the second picture is a close up.) The damage did not happen during shipping because the frame is painted over the damage. The glass barely, and I mean barely, covered the frame opening. I had to carefully center it, gently lay my picture in and put the backing on while praying that it did not slip out the front of the frame. 2 millimeters more glass would have made a big difference.. This frame is absolutely what we needed to complete our military travels wall. It is deep enough for 38 thick custom matting the photographer did. My husband was able to install the mounting brackets and hang wire in less than 2 minutes. He’s done it a few dozen times for me on other frames. I am definitely purchasing another one of these frames for another 16x20 portrait we have that also has the 38 thick custom matting, and I do recommend this frame.
