Tolman Solid Wood Wall 5 - Hook Coat Rack

This is so classy looking as well as useful. I have it over a beautiful wooden bench with a black seed and cushion. It’s very clean looking. I’m getting one for Christmas gifts for a couple of friends this year!

A rustic modern look which was easy to install

We love the wall mounted coat rack. It's sturdy and looks good. Our only complaint is that there is no cover for the drywall screws. It would be much nicer if it came with some sort of screw caps that matched the coat rack.

The reviews had me excited, but from the second I opened the box, I was disappointed. I've only done some basic woodworking in the past but it doesn't take a lot of experience to know how rudimentary the construction of the coat rack is. It does not come finished, so any time I moved it around for placement, the black rubbed off on my white walls. And it got worse from there, as the screws barely made it through the holes--squeaking louder than I've ever experienced while building furniture, only one of them solidly making it through and into the anchor. Long story short I realized it's a bigger risk trying to force the rest of the screws through, so right now I have it fastened only by the top screws, though the second one screwed the anchor up so it's just hanging in a gaping hole now. Really not ideal, but I won't try to push it with anything too heavy, so just praying it stays put for as long as possible. Wouldn't have sucked as much if it were third of the price. It was one of the most aggressively annoying installs because of how basic and unfinished this build is, so I do not recommend.
