They let it the perfect amount of light for day time! I love being to move the blinds according to where the sun is and they were super easy to install! **UPDATE** the blinds are cheap for a reason, they will not l last you two years, great if you're flipping a house and don't want to invest a lot or just need a quick fix. The winding mechanisms on these wear after less than two years of daily opening the blinds in the morning and closing them at night.

Love these in my wildly windowed Florida garage guest studio where the summer southern sunlight can be too much and when lower sash privacy is needed at times.

The shade works great in my office. It’s easy to pull down as well as to push-up and if I just wanna keep the sun out of my eyes, I can pull the top down.

Love this style but wish they can in none sheer options. The top “handle” doesn’t clip on right but it really isn’t needed

The blinds themselves seem fine but The ivory color is much too yellow. Looks like blinds that have been in a smokers house for 20 years. Unfortunately didn’t realize it until it was too late to return. Now I’m stuck with ugly blinds.

This shade is perfect for our 1st floor bathroom for privacy but also allows light through. Easy to install and use.
