Vitamix 48-Ounce Color Container - Purple

Purchased after a long wait at the price I have been looking for, color identifies clearly as intended use separate from other uses. Agent was very helpful in identifying the decade plus old model I've been happy to use regularly: and it now slides under my upper cabinets!

Was a gift for my husband. He loves it, it works and does exactly what he wanted it for.

I bought this for making juices or smoothies in a smaller container. When using the tamper, I I felt maybe a smaller container would be of better use. The 64 ounce container just felt too big. I don’t use strong ingredients in one recipe that might affect the taste of other recipes but the yellow color intrigued me because I want to use fresh turmeric for juices or smoothies. The construction is of high quality.
