This topper has made a great impact on helping to alleviate my discomfort while sleeping. The firmness and thickness helps support my back, allowing me to get a better night sleep with less pain than before. Also, the cooling gel material is a bonus, being I sweat in my sleep.

The topper comes vacuum sealed. You have to leave it out for 72 hours to allow it to puff up and for the odor to dissipate. I honestly didnt notice an odor at all. I did measure the topper and it puffed up to 3.5 inches not the 4 that was in the description. The topper has 4 adjustable straps, one in each corner to hold onto your mattress. It fit well under my mattress cover and deep pocket sheets. When I finally laid on it, wow it was firm and really made a difference on my not so sturdy mattress. I hope the straps dont move while we sleep. So far this seems like a great product and a great alternative to having to buy a new mattress right now.
