I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The box looks like it should be good quality, but unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. Got the 9 inch size and it’s perfect under our sleep number mattress. I wish the cover fit the whole way around the box springs, including the bottom, like other box springs we have for a more secure fit, but the cover does have large hoops for the corners that appear to snuggly secure it. The standard wooden slats provide an excellent surface foundation for any platform beds, bunks, and daybeds. It adds support to any mattress type and will keep the mattress in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress The wooden slats made out of spruce wood are linked to prevent movement during use and they effortlessly extend your mattress's life span and prevent sagging It will give firm bottom support for the mattress These can be avoided with the use of slats. Using slats doubles the mattress's life expectancy. This slat is a good alternative in lieu of a box spring that may be too high for day beds. It will give the bed a lift without adding much height. These slats are strong enough to be used directly on the bed frame in lieu of a box spring.

Just what I needed. I found it hard to find boxsprings that you don't have to assemble! I did NOT want to have to assemble them. These are good because they ship in two not-too-large boxes. I was able to handle them myself without help. You simply unpack, unfold it, and put it on the bed. No assembly required. Taking off one star because there were a couple staples poking out of one of them, but once I laid it flat, that was the part that went together so they are not exposed in any way.. Kg.
