Wilson Estrela Basswood Barkside Shelf Kit

I absolutely am in love with the look of this shelf. It looks like it was just cut from a tree and the moss-colored bark really adds to the natural look. I love it when nature can come inside and be a part of the design. This shelf was very easy to install and looks lovely in my nook.

My shelf was missing all hardware and brackets, but Wayfair sent me new parts within the week. I liked this shelf so much, I purchased two. It looks great in my daughter's forest themed bedroom.

Wish the wood came finished but knew this from other reviews. I was lucky to have some bark available so will use it to finish off the edges and will stain the rest of the surfaces. Arrived undamaged 2 days earlier than expected so that was great!

This shelf is gorgeous. the smell of the wood is wonderful, if you like that sort of thing. I laid it on my living room rug before hanging it and my cat curled up next to it. I think she thought she was in a tree.

Not the best to hang, the wooden pieces it sits on isn’t the most safe or sturdy. Also, the color of the wood is almost bone white. We ended up staining ours so it was a better color wood finish. The live end is super cool but it might be more work than it’s worth.

Looks rustic. Fits in nicely with our decor.

shelf is well constructed, the bark on the face was peeling a bit but that just added to the 'rustic' look i want. the shelf top/bottom and brackets are unfinished wood. I stained it to match my furnishings.

Arrived in great shape. Well packed. Nice bark trim on edge.
