I wanted a pretty analog clock for my nightstand, with an alarm feature and hands that glow in the dark. Period. Apparently, that is too old school what with all the digital devices we can't live without, because all I could find was El Cheapo plastic clocks. I even ordered (and returned) one from a "top" brand that turned out to be an overpriced piece of plastic junk. I switched my search to Wayfair and found this one. Bingo. This clock is real glass and real wood and looks as nice in person as in the picture. One thing I did not know until doing some research is that the little reflective strips on the clock hands do not glow in the dark unless they are first exposed to light. This may be common knowledge but was news to me. I either shine a little pen light on the face and it lights right up, or I turn the clock toward the window during the day and let it absorb UV light that way. It would sure be helpful if the manufacturer would include this information with the set-up instructions for those of us who did not major in nuclear science. Spoiler alert: It has to do with needing to use a substitute for radioactive material that naturally glows in the dark. Proving that old school is not always the best.

I just love this mantle clock, it is very modern and sleek looking, very attractive! It’s perfect for my guest bedroom, definitely recommend this!

Very attractive and completely quiet

I love my Marcus Table Clock. I really like the Roman numerals, along with the quietly rotating minute hand, the gold tone around the face, and clear glass holding it in place. I have placed it right next to my computer, and I refer to it with pleasure. It's lovely, and I have to say, very accurate, besides being an excellent price. Wayfair really comes through.

Great versatile clock that can be used anywhere.

I bought one of these clocks, and the alarm On/Off switch didn't work. The alarm beeped every 12 hours with no way to turn it off except to change the alarm time. I notified WayFair and received a replacement clock. It had the same problem. I opened the back cover to see if I could disable the alarm because we didn't need it anyway. The mechanism that turns the beeper on/off is poorly designed. A very slight misalignment of it (because of sloppy manufacturing tolerances) prevents it from working, which is why some of them work and some don't.
