Christina, 1916 Framed Print on Canvas

A charismatic work by Italian Expressionist Modigliani, who depicted an unidentified neighborhood demoiselle whose distant eyes invite the viewer to engage introspectively with the sitter. This painting, like most works by Italian artist Modigliani, is delicate, marked by sinuous lines, simple flat forms and elongated proportions that are almost classical in its effect. This authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting’s texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. It is surrounded by an imported, antique gold-toned, delicately sculpted designer resin frame with a leaf motif. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.
