Wood Matte Picture Frame

Greta frame. Had a chip in the corner but wayfair made it right. Lightweight frame. It is plastic not glass so there is a small glare but still god quality.

This is not a cheap-looking frame, but neither is it one that could be mistaken for one of a handsomely paid skilled craftsman. Since it is without glass, it is light and did justice to the poster for which it was intended.

I was given a work of art. A chalk sketch done by my grandfather in the 1940s and needed a nice frame to protect it and put it on display. I took measurements and ordered this frame. It fit perfectly, looks nice and came with all the necessary materials to hang it on my wall. It did come with a protective clear plastic to protect the piece but my picture already came with a plastic covering. So I just didn’t use it.

Do not buy! They keep putting a sticker on the covering and it does not peel off. The first time I tried goo gone and that ruined it. The replacement still has the sticker and I tried to take it off and it pulled up the acrylic film so aging this is unusable. If they just stopped putting the sticker on it it may be fine not until they stop don’t viu

Very nice frame! It’s sturdy, and easy to use. The hardware was easy to secure in place, I drilled a small hole and then screwed the brackets in place. There’s a nice, thick foam core backing that’s suitable, depth wise, for photos, posters and prints. The joints align perfectly. The frame is lightweight and simple in design but in no way cheap looking. I highly recommend it.

I took up watercolor and always need more frames. This frame was perfect for my butterfly watercolor and a mat board. The hanger went in well, too. My only complaint is that it is acrylic instead if glass.

I ordered this frame to replace the recently broken one on a favorite sailing lithograph. I purchased the one closest in size which required a minimal trimming of the picture. Apparently, the sizes vary significantly down to the quarter inch. The frame itself though made of wood is rather thin and flexible. It is not a high quality frame and probably more suited to posters. The frame arrived with the acrylic glass in place, however due to the fact that it was covered on both sides with an adhesive blue safety plastic dismantling was necessary. The adhesive was removed with little effort but when it came to putting the glass back into the frame we ran into a bit of a challenge. Either the frame itself or the glass was not perfectly symmetrical and we could not get the glass back in. After several attempts, all the while concerned that we would crack the glass, we were able to adjust and pull the wood frame (due to flexibility) and manipulate the glass into position. The frame and inserts are held together with little triangle points which bend out of the way and then back in place as needed. They break easily. While I am happy to have my litho framed again and hanging on the wall, I am disappointed with the lack of quality in overall appearance. My sense is that I will be looking for another replacement in the near future. As I said, Good for poster type art work or small prints.

This frame is exactly what I was looking for. The gray color has a realistic looking wood finish. The frame has plastic instead of glass, but it is not too noticeable. It came with a wire hanging kit so its secure on the wall.
