Absolutely lovely and the wash look on the wood is so neutral and works everywhere. It’s solid and sturdy. The grey is a bluish grey and is very pretty. Looks much more expensive than it was and I strongly suggest this is a must buy bench.

This bench is absolutely gorgeous. I was therefore heartbroken to discover it was mid-advertised as an “end of the bed bench. I can imagine multiple uses for it end of bed bench isn’t one of them. There were no reviews, so I take or this is new. There were also no pictures of the bench in a room (i.e. to scale , so there was no way to know how short it is, or that the only way it works as an end of bed bench is if you have a twin or full (unless you checked the specs). Because it was included with regular sized benches, there was no reason to expect it to be so short. The wood is gorgeously carved and it’s hard to believe it’s so cheap. The hue of blue-gray is sublime. Wayfair needs to rename it (drop the end of bed from description) or indicate that it works only with small beds. Better yet, they should hire me to write copy or at least edit existing copy. I’m a professional writer and editor, as well as admissions consultant. I was sad to have to return it and frustrated at having to cover shipping, since this was a case of poorly worded copy, not merely aesthetics. On the bright side, it took just five minutes to assemble.
