This Sofa Bed is covered in 100% Genuine Italian Top Grain Leather all throughout - even on the back and sides (unlike other brands that use faux or lower grade leather elsewhere). It is also treated during the tanning process to protect against staining from spills and UV damage. Leather is 1.5mm thick and will not split, fade, tear, or crack.
This sofa bed conceals a no-compromise true US Queen size (60” x 78”), 5” Thick Memory Foam mattress with an independent birch slat mattress base for the ultimate comfort and support. Motion from either side of the bed is not transferred to the other. Sleeping in the middle of the bed is seamless due to the design of the mattress base. Constructed of solid steel and hardwood, a noiseless yet still supremely comfortable true traditional bed-like sleep is assured. As a sofa, sitting comfort is designed to provide support and fatigue-free comfort over extended periods of time.
Converting from a sofa to a bed is easy with our one-arm open mechanism – no need to remove the seat or back cushions. A pull of the deployment strap tumbles the bed out and a soft lift and push convert the bed back into a sofa.
