We love this dog house. We have a 110 pound German shepherd who prefers being outside. I never grew up with an outdoor dog so I was extremely hesitant to move him full time to our backyard, but this dog house made it an easier choice. He’s super happy and so are we. One thing to note is the installation is very tricky. We thought we could do it ourselves but we ended up paying someone 700 to build it for us. Solid coop with high quality materials. The mesh is strong and predator proof. The rubber mats and automatic door are thoughtful touches. It is extremely sturdy and affixes to the ground well. Lots of room for my chicks and they enjoy the space. It is difficult to put together and when they recommend two people you definitely need two people. A power drill is also a must, and I am short so I also needed a ladder to take care of the roof, so something to keep in mind. For new chicken owners, this is a great choice - I would just recommend to put down hardware cloth at the bottom to keep out digging predators if you have them in your area.
