The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. Very nice table, perfect for temporary use until we find a more permanent table. It took longer to unpack the table than to put it together. We used the 30" pole for the right height for the chairs. No tools needed to assemble the pole has 2 notches to lock in to the top of the table. It would have been nice to have the same notches to lock for the bottom legs too.
