Used this with the H155C Series 30" 286 CFM island range hood. We have cathedral ceilings and had to purchase the chimney extension; because of the angled ceiling, I had our contractor fashion a ceiling box to create a level surface for the chimney and chimney bracket and it worked great. It is BEAUTIFUL! I am remodeling my home. I had a set of headbangers above my stove and I just wanted them gone. I found this one bc I had to have a free-hanging vent and it is PERFECT. I am not sure what all they had to do to install it, but they did great. It's not real quiet, but I don't use that part much.
