Heavy gauge durability.
I'm 5'2" and have small hands so these worked out great for me. Shorter than some of the other brands with the 13.5" long handles. These fit great in a standard size utensil crock and you can get plenty of other items in with them. They are thinner than some of the other brands such as OXO but still sturdy. These are made using a metal stamping method versus a heated poured metal process. The Stamped method usually leaves edges that are a little more harsh or sharper but they are still comfortable and sturdy and the set is nicely polished. I rated these a 5 based on the value. It is a very nice set for cost. I bought a 5 piece set of the black handled Good Grips OXO utensils that came with a rather cheap holder and they are huge, do have rounded smooth edges they all fit in the crock but nothing else will with them and they cost $67..
