We ordered the cooler, and it arrived about a week ago. So far, so good! It looks great, functions great, and seems to hold the temperature well. The dual zone feature is awesome, even though we have all reds in it. I’ve read the reviews, and some have complained about it being loud. We haven’t had that experience but I’ll take a listen as time goes on. It’s very quiet, and the refrigerator in our kitchen makes more noise than this one does! We did get the 5 year warranty just in case something goes haywire. As for the amount of bottles that it holds, it will hold a lot of bottles! You can get 170 bottles in there for sure, if they’re all the same size, slimmer, 750ml bottles. But if you have a mixture of pinotsyrah bottles they of course take up a bit more space and you’ll have to adjust for that. It’s like saying “one size fits all”. It may be true, depending on what’s going in it. That’s not a shortfall of the unit, but is a reality of not all bottles (or people) being the same size. The wooden shelves not only look good, but they function well and slide out easily. Use caution when pulling out the shelves though if there are bottles loaded onto the shelves. Common sense, but you shouldn’t pull the shelf rapidly as some of the bottles may fall off. The instructions didn’t mention waiting 24 hours after it arrived before plugging it in, but I did so anyway just to be in the safe side. Looks very pretty - not an eye sore in our dining room as I feared a wine fridge might be. Got the black rather than silver in hopes that it would blend in almost like a piece of furniture rather than an appliance. I think it does. Love the modern bar style handle.
