I didn’t read about the material. So make sure to read. The chairs are made from recycle plastic. Before knowing I thought it was made of iron or metal. When I took it out the box I was nervous because it feels SO light. I have a big guy and with plastic I was afraid of it bending. But so far so good. It brings a vibe to the room. The A.I. family is growing, with the addition of A.I. stool recycled, a product made from recycled material with a clear focus on comfort thanks to a broad, welcoming seat.

The four chairs arrived on time and look just like the product photos/description overall. Good quality plastic and design, as expected from Kartell. However, the box was torn open during shipping (big hole on one side, packaging foam spilling out), and one of the armrests got quite dirty/smudged with grayish marks and scuffs along the edge. It seems like it rubbed against something rough in transit. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet (was traveling when it arrived), but I’ll attempt with mild soap and a soft cloth first. If it doesn’t come off, I’ll reach out to customer service. Delivery was quick and efficient otherwise—happy with the product apart from this small transit damage issue.. Dickie . Toronto. Purchased this on a whim to use up some Wayfair reward credits, and because I'm a big fan of my other Kartell purchases. Otherwise would never have sprung for a vase at this price. My sober Quaker ancestors would cringe! But so glad I did. How is it possible to make a plastic vase that is so beautiful? No way it looks like plastic. So pretty I'm hesitant to use it. FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colors recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridescently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering a greater concentration of light.

The shape comes from the joining of two symmetrical parts: two flat, rectangular, and two-dimensional plates which each assume the shape and volume of a half-lamp.
